Gower College Swansea (GCS) is one of the highest performing colleges in the UK. We are renowned for our A Level programme, with outstanding results and progression rates to the UK’s finest universities. GCS has a long history, dating back to 1825.
We have been teaching A Levels since 1951 and now teach over 40 different subjects. Our class sizes are small with an average of 15 students per class, taught by highly qualified teachers, many of which are chief examiners in their subject.
Our Oxbridge Preparation Programme was established in 1987, and around 10 students progress to Oxbridge each year from the College. We also offer a Medical Tutorial Programme which prepares students for entry into top UK Medical Schools.
The GCS English Academy offers a range of programmes including the IELTS and A Level Preparation Course, Academic English, General English and the International Foundation Programme.
Our international students benefit from a tutorial system, study skills support and an exciting international social programme, enabling students to flourish and realise their full potential.
Gower College is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by beautiful beaches and countryside. Swansea is the second biggest city in Wales, only 3 hours by road/train from London. It is a vibrant, friendly city with a great variety of shops, cafes and cinemas, and plenty of cultural activities on offer.
